Benjamin Lee Eckstein
Benjamin Lee Eckstein's career as a sportswriter and statistician might be described as a sports fan's dream. He is the man behind the nationally syndicated sports stats feature, "Superstats."
For more than 20 years, Eckstein has collected records of athletes and teams, of baseball, football, hockey and basketball – both on the college level and the professional level.
He has written for the New York Daily News, St. Petersburg Times and The Boston Globe, as well as for ABC radio and CBS publications. He has also written for and hosted sports talk radio shows at WQBK in Albany and KVEG in Las Vegas.
