Linda Black and Jeraldine Saunders

Linda Black is a leading expert on chart preparation and the history of astrology. Her daily Horoscopes are syndicated to newspapers and Web sites around the world through Tribune Media Services.

Writing from her cozy cabin near the Big Sur coastline in California, nationally syndicated writer and astrologer Linda Black gives readers more than just their daily forecast.

As she puts it, "I help my readers understand their natural talents and resolve their issues successfully."

Black's lighthearted, supportive horoscopes are popular with people who want not only a sense of what the day will bring, but also a little coaching so they can make the most of it.

Black sees astrology as a personal tool.

"We're not helpless – there are lots of things we can do to make our lives work, no matter what sort of conditions are around us."

According to Black, "Horoscopes are like the weather report. Instead of rain, astrologers predict changes in energy levels, and how they affect all areas of our lives. What we do with the information is completely personal, but knowing in advance can be very useful. Astrology is just one of the many ways we discover the patterns we live within. We're affected by what's going on around us, but we can influence events, too. With astrology, we can steer our own vessel."

Black has practiced the ancient science of astrology since the early 1970's. She is certified by the American Federation of Astrologers, the Association of Astrological Networking, and the International Society of Astrological Research.
