Bazer is a rising young humorist whose work has appeared in the Chicago Tribune and its edition for commuters, RedEye. In addition, for several years Bazer hoststhe talk show “The Interview Show” at the Hideout, a popular Chicago club. The show, which Bazer orchestrates with the intellectual yet approachable flair of a latter-day Dick Cavett, features authors, journalists, musicians, filmmakers, standup comics, chefs, hip-hop artists and more, and can be seen at The Huffington Post.
He has also written for GQ magazine, the Boston Globe, the New York Daily News, the Chicago Reader, the Boston Phoenix and other leading mainstream and alternative publications. Bazer has filled in as a talk-show host on WGN radio, performed humor on Chicago's public radio station, WBEZ, and was a staff writer for the popular and humorous CD-ROM game "You Don't Know Jack." An essay of his is included in the humor anthology "101 Damnations," published by St. Martin's Press. While a student at Northwestern University, Bazer was a weekly humor columnist for the school's newspaper.
