Nancy Black
Nancy Black has been a published writer for 35 years and recently took over her late mother Linda Black's celebrated astrology column for Tribune Media Services. It was Linda's wish that her daughter continue her life's work, and Nancy is honored to carry on her mother's legacy.
Nancy and her husband Isaac Hernandez own Mercury Press International, which is named after Mercury, the planet of communications. This media agency reaches millions, providing words, images and video to magazines, books, periodicals, visual media and commercial clients, in over twenty countries. Clients include National Geographic Books (US), Marie Claire (Brazil), Family Fun (US), Cosmopolitan (Spain), Elle (Spain), USA Today (US), E (US), Sports Illustrated for Kids (US), National Geographic Traveler (US), GEO (Spain), Santa Barbara Magazine (US) and Mountain Bike (US), as well as a great many more. They are also correspondents for El Mundo, Spain's second-largest national newspaper and the world's largest Spanish-language publication.
Nancy spent her childhood living on a sailboat and has enough sea hours to be a charter skipper. She earned a B.A. in Studio Arts from UCSB, and is an accomplished oil painter and musician.
