While test-driving the 2011 Kia Sorento, I found myself behind a two-door soft-top Kia Sportage, circa 1995 or so. Looks aren't the only place that Kia has made improvements, however. With a V-6 engine, acceleration was smooth and relatively quick, and the ride was smooth and pleasantly uneventful. The Sorento starts at $22,395. Exterior.
Callaway Cars branches out to trucks; Supercar-creation company adds Chevy Silverado to stable
Callaway Cars, the legendary American tuning house known for powerfully modifying Chevrolet Corvettes and Camaros, is adding a high-performance pickup to its stable of sports cars. "We're working on a truck," said Mike Vendetto, commercial manager for Callaway. Callaway was founded in 1977 by Reeves Callaway. The Callaway Silverado is still in the design stage.
