Rachael Ray Writes Special Op-Ed for TMS
Rachael Ray, the bestselling cookbook author, television host and founder of Everyday with Rachel Ray magazine, has penned a special opinion column on child hunger. Nearly 17 million American children struggle against hunger and don't have access to good food. Federal funding for anti-hunger initiatives is due to expire in September, and Ray appeals to Congress to reauthorize that funding at adequate levels. In 2007, Ray founded Yum-o!, a charitable organization dedicated to empowering kids and their families to develop healthy relationships with food.
